House Rules

We all value freedom, but to ensure it doesn’t disrupt future guests, neighbors, or our caretakers, certain rules must be followed.

Fines apply for any violations. In case of breaches, the full security deposit may be withheld, and additional charges may be incurred for repairs or any fines imposed by the society.

Respect the community

  • This is a close knit community & everyone knows each other here.

  • Talk politely to the house staff and the community members. If you see a problem, discuss with me first. Any rude behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • NO LOUD MUSIC

Damage & Responsibility

  • If you break or damage anything, we will ask you to repair or replace the item.

  • Lost Keys: If you lose the house key, you will be charged the full cost for replacing the Godrej lock.

  • Bedsheets: Please keep them clean and free from food spills or stains.

  • Furniture: No breakage is expected. If any damage occurs, we will require a full refund or a replacement of similar quality and design.

Room Stay Guidelines

  • Quiet Hours: No loud music or noise between 10 PM-7AM, as it disturbs other guests and neighbors. Even if you’ve booked the entire villa, music is strictly not allowed after 10 PM.

  • Cleanliness: You are responsible for keeping your room and bathroom clean during your stay. We help as much as we can.

  • No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or bathrooms. Please step outside the house to smoke.

  • Laundry & Drying: Use the dedicated drying area on the balcony for clothes—please avoid using furniture for drying.

  • Fresh Linens: Bedsheets, pillows, and blankets are available once every three days upon request. Please ask our caretaker and refer to the details provided separately for making a request.

  • Ants Alert: Be mindful of food scraps—ants arrive in thousands if food is left exposed.

  • Respect the Space: Treat the rooms as your own. If you make a mess, clean it up. If something is beyond your control, let us know so we can assist.

Swimming Pool

  •  Swimming Pool (9:30AM-6:00PM): ₹100 per person for the day. Pay directly at the pool when asked.

  • Proper swimwear is needed.

  • Using the swimming pool after hours is not allowed & will lead to the stay being terminated immediately.

  • No alcohol or eatables around in the swimming pool. If you want to eat near the pool, please mantain some distance from the water. If you drop some food there, clean it.

Kitchen & Food

  • Kindly refrain from bringing non-vegetarian food into the kitchen. Eggs are permitted in the first-floor kitchen.

    • Feel free to order any food from outside, but cooking in the kitchen is not allowed.

  • Please keep the kitchen clean and organized after use. While we’re happy to assist, maintaining cleanliness during your stay is your responsibility.

Waste Management

  • As per Goan government regulations, waste must be separated into wet and dry categories.

  • If waste is mixed by mistake, please separate it to avoid a ₹500 fine. 

  • Put all food waste in compost bin while everything else goes in the other bin. If you have food in packets, then throw the food & packets separately.

Strict Footwear Policy

  • Outside footwear is strictly not allowed inside the house.

  • We provide a pair of indoor slippers for your use. If you prefer a fresh pair, you can purchase one from the shop outside the complex.

  • Please do not take house slippers outside.

    Why This Rule?

  • To prevent sand mites and insects from entering the house. These tiny pests, often invisible, can easily be carried inside.

  • Being in a coastal area, we take extra precautions against centipedes, millipedes, and other insects.

  • Shoes bring in dirt, making the space unclean. We ensure daily cleaning so you can enjoy walking barefoot comfortably.
