How to Reach Golden Perch Goa

Golden Perch is located in South Goa, close to Zalor Beach(400 meters). On the Checkin day, you will receive an exact guide for reaching the house. For planning, you can use this guide:

From the Airport

Dabolim Airport (GOI) – 45 mins

Manohar Airport (GOX - MOPA) – 2 hours

Once you land, you have the following options to reach Golden Perch:

• Prepaid Taxi (Recommended): Available at the airport counter. These are hassle-free and have fixed rates.

• GoaMiles App (Recommended): Goa’s version of Uber/Ola. Download the app. Not recommended for your journey back from Golden Perch due to unreliability.

• Car/Bike Rental (Recommended): Contact Yash (+91-7447774897 WhatsApp & Calls) for car rental services. I do not have any recommendation for scooter rental.

From the Railway Station/Bus

Nearest Station: Madgaon (25 mins)

• Prepaid Taxi (Recommended): Available at the railway station.

• GoaMiles App (Recommended): Use this for a fair-priced ride. Not recommended for your journey back from Golden Perch due to unreliability.

• Self-Drive Rentals (Recommended): Contact Yash (+91-7447774897 WhatsApp & Calls) for Car rental options. I do not have any recommendation for scooter rental.

• Bus (not recommended): If you prefer bus rides & walking then follow this route:

  • Reach Madgaon Bus Stand (4.5Kms from railway station)

  • From Bus Stand, take the bus for Carmona (buses leave in morning & evenings and times keep changing)

  • From Carmona, you can walk through a scenic road for 1.4Km to reach us. Try your luck with hitchhiking.

Directions for using the Goamiles App/self drive

• In GoaMiles app, put the destination location to 'Zalor beach'.

• On your checkin day, you will receive the exact location of the villa. Use the location from those instruction for reaching the house.

• Do not depend on it for your journey back from Golden Perch. They often cancel your booking at last moment. Prebook Taxi with Sandesh.

• The taxi driver will recognize these famous names.

  • Zalor Beach (400m away from stay)

  • Carmona (1 Km away)

  • Varca Church (2 Kms away)

Coming in off Hours

The railway station airport & bus stand are well connected.

If you are coming in off hours, then consider pre booking a taxi with Sandesh. Give him a day's notice as he will come from far.

My recommendation

• I recommend you to use GoaMiles or prepaid taxi service from the airport if you are not planning to rent a car.

• If you plan to rent a car for your stay, then you can rent it directly from the airport.

• If you can’t book either a prepaid taxi or Goamiles cab, and have to book a regular taxi, then use Goamiles app to check fair government price and then try to bargain with local taxi drivers for price.
