Planning a Celebration at Golden Perch

We often get messages from guests wanting to arrange something special for their partner, something like flowers in the room, a decoration, a little surprise. We love that! While our team isn't equipped for room decoration, here are a few things you can easily arrange yourself:

Room Decoration

Book a decorator — Swaraj Florist & Decorators in Margao is an option. Since our previous guests for your room would leave no earlier than 10AM, ensure that the decorators get enough time to prepare your room on the day of your checkin. Please ensure no tapes are to be used on the wall, and you clean the room of decoration at checkout.

Pre-order flowers — Order a bouquet for delivery to our address before your check-in time. Please set up delivery time as 10am, that’s when our caretaker arrives for preparing rooms, she can set the flowers in your room

• Flower shop nearby - you could pick from here on the way from Airport/ Madgaon Train/Bus station

Dinner

The beach shacks near us often set up private dinners with candles and flowers. These are the two beach shacks at walking distance from our home that can arrange special dinners on advance request:

There are also a couple of other cafes/restaurants nearby that are worth a call to check if they’d be willing to do a special dinner setup. We don’t have any formal association with them:

Beach Picnic Setup & Photoshoot

Birthday Cake / Celebration Cake

You can order cakes on Swiggy or Zomato. A few places we’ve tried and liked:

A gentle note: We absolutely encourage you to have a wonderful time but we live in a residential area, we request no loud music or parties in and around the house. Please ensure there is no damage to walls, furniture due to decorations or celebration.
